Today I went to Utrecht witch two third year contruction groups (bouw) to Utrecht. There we visited the Spoorwegenmuseum and we climbed the Dom Tower!
At the Spoorwegenmusuem we saw a lot of trains and locomotives. It wasn't much fun. The guys (and one girl) had to make a few exercises, one was to make a sketch of the roof of the museum.
After we visited the museum we went through Utrect city to get to the Dom Tower. The students had an hour to eat lunch and to walk through Utrecht. Me and my colleagues ate a sandwich in a little cafe. School payed so I took an extra deluxe sandwich, it tasted really good! After the one hour of free time we climbed the Dom Tower. 113 metres and about 440 steps! It was a tough climb but when we were at the top we could enjoy a wonderful view of Utrecht and its surrounding cities. But as you know, one who goes up also has to go down, so.... we had to descend the stairs... A hell of a trip.
In the weekend I didn't do that much. One of my friends threw a party on Friday (he turned 23). I didn't go out after that because my friends all wanted to go to Almere City and I try to avoid the city as much as possible in the weekends. I don't want to see students when I had a drink (or two... or three)! On Saturday I had to go to Get Down though because a friend of mine threw a party at the club. It was more of a chill night out, we didn't dance that much.
